The Glow Foundation launches Noble Oklahoma as the newest solar region on the Glow protocol

New Region Announcement: Oklahoma

The Glow Foundation is pleased to announce the launch of Noble Oklahoma as the newest solar region on the Glow protocol. The Foundation has been working on onboarding several new regions since the launch of Glow V2, and Oklahoma is the first of these to reach maturity. The region will be launching imminently, and the first solar farm will be available for delegation on app.glow.org next week.

GCTL Allocation

Each week, the Launchpad features both solar farms that are available for GLW token delegation and miners that can be purchased with cash. The cash proceeds from miner sales are used to fund the future construction of solar farms, which includes purchasing GCTL tokens that can either fund new regions or augment existing regions.

Today, the Foundation is using the proceeds from miner sales to purchase 35,000 GCTL tokens and delegate them to the Noble Oklahoma region, creating a level of initial emissions that is more than sufficient to bootstrap the region and make new farms attractive to delegators.
